Due to garden repairs it was seen prudent that we got Wolfgang Junior on the road as a means of transporting some timber for our garden / decking renovation project. The T3 pransporter is like a tardis for a short wheelbase vehicle, and anybody that has had any dealings with one will know exactly what i mean. Delivery waiting times at the local timber yard meant that we would have been delayed by a week after deciding that the job really needed sorting sooner rather than later, and the good weather was already here.

Once the decking was finished it was a case of one project leading into an ever increasing list of financially escalating, and physically demanding reasons not to be at home.

So an evening away in the campervan was just the ticket we needed to give us respite after the garden work and lock down.

We found ourselves in a really privileged situation with a field to ourselves due to a great contact and friend we had from a previous campsite in Matlock. Due to the massive increase of people wanting to camp so soon after lock down there wasn’t space at the CL site, but we were just happy to be surrounded by peace and tranquility.

We found a really nice woodland walk with plenty of rocks and streams. Just what we needed.
