One of the components that I wasn’t particularly happy with when the engine needed attention was the fitted inlet manifold for the 28mm carb. It didn’t seem to match up very well with the cylinder head. After a little research i decided to buy an MB inlet which seemed to match a lot better. However, there was a little material removal work that needed doing to one of the fins to the CASA 185 kit that was on the engine before it would fit correctly. I couldn’t think about removing the metal from the manifold as the walls weren’t particularly thick.
